Our 5 year Warranty


Occtolab’s products is designed to give you many years of musical listening pleasure, Occtolab warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of Five (5) years from the date of delivery.


For warranty to become effective, the original purchaser must register the product at the time of purchase on our contact page, warranty applies only to products purchased within the Canada and US and is extended only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. This warranty does not apply to fuses, leds, batteries, vacuum tubes or any products or parts that have been subjected to normal wear and tear, neglect, accident, misuse, modification, or any abnormal operating conditions.


In the event of failure of a product under this warranty, Ooctolab will repair, at no charge, the product returned to its factory. Ooctolab may, at its option, replace the product in lieu of repair. If the failure has been caused by misuse, neglect, accident, normal wear and tear or abnormal operating conditions, repairs will be billed at normal shop rate. In such cases, an estimate will be submitted to customer before work is started.


All other warranties are hereby disclaimed.


This warranty does not cover:

 

  1. cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches and dents:

  2. normal wear and tear or normal aging of the product (e.g. plated metal surface);

  3. cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches and dents:

  4. damage through accident, neglect, misuse, abuse, natural events or disaster,improper storage or other external causes;

  5. usage of product outside its designed purpose;

  6. damage as a result from shipping or third parties handling;

  7. any product alternation, includes but not limited to deface, mutilate, or remove the product's label, holographic label, heat-shrinks, screws, any hardware;

  8. kits, modules or do-it-yourself parts.

Occotlab will not honor warranties for any products purchased in the Canada or US market for export. The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchant ability, fitness or adequacy for any particular purpose or use. Oocotlab shall not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages.


Limitation of Liability:


EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR INJURIES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF ACTUAL PROFITS; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED PROFITS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF LIFE; OR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT, VIRTUAL OR PHYSICAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE WHATSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF
EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY.


ABOUT WARRANTY REPAIRS


An RMA (return merchandise authorization) number, issued by our Customer Service is required when sending products for repair.


Customers may be required to provide proof of purchase date, warranty card, respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues and follow Occtolab’s directions to make a claim on your warranty.


To make a warranty claim:

 

  1. Customer must contact our Customer Service for a RMA (return merchandise authorization) number. A RMA number issued by our Customer Service is required for all services;

  2. Customer must provide us with a tracking number from their shipping company within the next 5 days after RMA number has issued. The returning product(s) shipped to Ooctolab must be prepaid, insured, includes the warranty card(s) and preferably in their original shipping carton. A letter or note should be included giving full details of the difficulty. The RMA number needs to be clearly visible on the exterior of the packaging, for drop-off please contact customer service;

  3. Upon receiving the unit, Ooctolab will inspect or repair the product. Ooctolab covers return shipping fee.


Our responsibilities of warranty claims:

 

  1. We will try to assist you in operating and repairing of your product;

  2. If we determine that the product has a manufacturing defect we will repair theproduct for you. If replacement of the part or repair of the unit is not possible,Ooctolab will send you a replacement product;

  3. We will send back the repaired or replacement product to you.


Ooctolab shall have the final decision and exclusive right to determine if the product is covered under its warranty policy.
