Description

A common problem in audiophile and HT setup is the existence of humming noise. A common solution is to lift the ground by disconnecting the Earth (aka remove ground connector) from the equipment. While this method may be effective in some cases, it poses an electrical hazard, potentially damaging the associated equipment as well as personal injury.

This Ground Loop Eliminator module is designed to be simple, safe and effective. Its simple design makes it ideal for DIY projects or as an add-ons to your equipment while maintaining electrical safety. Installation is quite easy and only has 3 steps:

  1. connect Earth from main to connector Chassis 1 or 2,

  2. connect chassis to connector Chassis 1 or 2,

  3. connect the 0 Volt Line of your device's circuit(s) to any GND 1 to 3 terminals.

It can accommodate spade connectors, direct soldering or both.  This module is  intended to be installed by qualified electrician / technician or if you’re familiar and have good knowledge of electronic components and electrical safety.
